Refunds and paid advertising

One listing is free for every private seller. You can pay for business plans, extra listings, boosts that make an ad more visible, and the booking fee on a rental car.

What you can buy

Featured placement for a fixed number of days. It moves your ad higher in search and marks it as featured. It does not guarantee views, enquiries or a sale, and we do not promise any particular result.

Prices

The price is shown before you pay and includes UAE VAT at the rate in force [confirm your VAT registration status and whether VAT applies]. Payment is taken by our payment provider. We do not store your card number.

When you get a refund

• Within 24 hours of purchase, if the featured period has not started: full refund, no questions.
• We remove your ad for breaking the rules: no refund.
• Your item sells early: we refund the unused days, rounded down to whole days, if you mark the ad sold and ask us within 7 days.
• The feature did not run because of a fault on our side: full refund, or we re-run it, your choice.
• You changed your mind after the feature has run: no refund. The service was delivered.

Plans

• Monthly or yearly. A plan renews on the day you bought it. Yearly is 20% cheaper.
• Moving to a bigger plan starts at once; the unused part of what you paid is taken off the price.
• Moving to a smaller plan, or cancelling, takes effect when the paid month or year ends. There is no part refund of a yearly plan [confirm with your lawyer before launch].

Rental booking fee (AED 50)

• Paid to MasarAuto when a rental company approves your request. It is MasarAuto's own fee, not the rent.
• Refunded when you pick up the car, when you cancel 24 hours or more before pick-up, or when the company cancels. If nobody marks the pick-up, it is refunded automatically 24 hours after pick-up time.
• Kept if you do not come, or cancel less than 24 hours before pick-up.
• The rent, the deposit, Salik and fines are paid to the rental company under its own contract. MasarAuto does not hold or pass on that money.

How to ask

Open a support ticket with your order reference. We answer within 1 to 3 working days, and an approved refund is sent back to the original card within those same 1 to 3 working days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it on your statement; that part is outside our control.
