Terms of use

MasarAuto is a noticeboard. We help buyers and sellers find each other. We are not the seller, not the buyer, and not a party to any deal made through the site.

Who we are

Using the site

• You must be 18 or over and legally able to enter a contract.
• One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under it.
• You must give a working UAE mobile number and verify it.
• Do not scrape, copy or bulk-download listings, or use the site to build a competing database.

If you list something

• You must own it, or be authorised by the owner to sell it.
• Everything you state must be true: mileage, accident history, service history, specs, and whether the car is under finance. Misstating these is fraud, not marketing.
• Photos must be of the actual item and must be yours to use. Do not use another seller's photos, manufacturer press images, or pictures from the internet.
• If the item sells, mark it sold or remove the ad.
• You give us permission to display your ad on the site and in search results, and to resize and watermark your photos for that purpose. You keep ownership of them.

What we do about bad listings

We may hold, edit or remove any listing, and suspend any account, where we believe these terms have been broken or a listing is misleading. We try to tell you why. For repeated or deliberate abuse we will not always give a warning first.

We are not part of the deal

• We do not inspect vehicles or parts, and we do not verify what a seller tells us unless we say so on the specific listing.
• We never take payment between a buyer and a seller: no escrow, no deposits. The only payments on MasarAuto are our own fees (plans, extra listings, boosts and the AED 50 rental booking fee), always in checkout. Anyone asking you to pay MasarAuto for a vehicle is committing fraud. Report it.
• Price comparisons on this site are calculated from what other sellers are asking. They are a guide for negotiation, not a valuation, and they are not financial advice.
• The finance calculator is an illustration only. Real bank offers differ.
• Check the vehicle, the documents and the seller yourself before paying anyone anything.

Liability

We provide the site as it is. To the fullest extent UAE law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from a transaction between users, from something a user wrote in a listing, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Have counsel set the liability cap and check this clause against UAE consumer law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of [EMIRATE], and the courts of [EMIRATE] have jurisdiction.
